What is R.A.P?
R.A.P. is a real estate referral company that allows people licensed in real estate (who no longer wish to practice real estate) the opportunity to accept referral fees based on leads given to the network. Why is it better than putting your license in escrow? Because you cannot give leads and accept referral fees while in escrow.

Who should enroll?
Anyone who has a real estate license but who no longer wants to practice, is the perfect person for this program. For instance, are you a part-agent who hasn’t found the time to actively begin a career in real estate sales? Are you finding it a struggle to make income as a full-time real estate agent? Have you moved away from the Pittsburgh area but don’t want to give up your license? Have you passed your exam but don’t want to leave your job? All these and more, are the kinds of reasons people join R.A.P.
This is about finding ways to make some extra money with the license you already have. It’s the other people who do the work.

If I know an agent I want to work with, can I use that agent, or do I have to go through R.A.P.
The answer is yes. Call us, or fill out the form here, and tell us who they are. We will place the referral with them. We will take care of it!
How do I place a referral?
All you have to do is go here, fill out the form, and we will take care of everything for you.
Do I have to pay Association or MLS fees if in the program?
NO! While in R.A.P. you owe no fees.
Continuing Education
YES! While you, as an agent, are not active, your license is! Any active license must be renewed and continuing education must be done, as usual. Please check here for classes that might fit your schedule.

How do I earn a commission
All R.A.P. agents receive commissions upon the closing of the transaction they referred. All money received is based on a percentage of the transaction.
R.A.P. is pleased to offer the highest commission program in the region!
What is the Percentage of Commission?
Our scale is based on increasing levels as follows:
- 1st closed transaction is based on 20% of the agent’s side of the commission
- 2nd closed transaction is based on 24% of the agent’s side of the commission
- 3rd closed transaction is based on 30% of the agent’s side of the commission
Example: Based on a sales price of $350,000 at 6% commission
- 1st closed: $1,050
- 2nd closed: $1,260
- 3rd closed: $1,575
